    Funniest thing about that game

2 lasses going round the pitch with a board with the time of the last goal .... goals were going in every other minute at end of the second half - the two lasses were pegging round as fast as they could to try to keep up with the goals. Poor girls were exhausted at the end of the game. :D

Ian Chandler. Formed a dynamic pairing with Darren Foreman (who Allan Clarke said would go on and play for England) - barmy managers aren't just a recent thing.....

Chortle, dragging 'em off by the waterfall ? Ah the memories. Damn fine side parting Mr Foreman had too.

One of them (Foreman I think) was once wound up by the other players. They were going to some function, a posh do, black tie et al, but they told Foreman that it was fancy dress and he turned up as Charlie Chaplin.

Nah, they never left that top bar ... the one that John MacDonald & PaulMcGugan were attached to. Foreman was always smoking - and a crap snog (according to my accomplice!). Still he could "shin" a goal in against Leeds so that was ok.

Damn, never got them to the waterfall!

It's probably for the best, much business was concluded there.</p>
