I'm starting the weekend off in style with a girlie night out in leeds on Friday....
gwe're etting a bit bored with the usual late-night places.... Oceana is usuallyfull of desperate blokes of a Friday night and we just ain't that desperate!
anyone got any suggestion for a good late bar or club? too many to choose from...
TIA

Bar Risa It's cheap, not oversized, got a VIP area that's easy to sneak into, plays alright music and you can fall asleep on one of the leather sofas.
You Been There? Once wasn't allowed in Oceana, as the bouncer thought our mate was drunk. Funny thing is he had drank only one pint and since that had drank WATER on the night out. But then he's very white and never looks well lol.
Isn't it... ...the one downstairs from Jongleurs, just by the Light, in which case I have yes, acouple of times, and I felt like a right owd bast-ard, even though I'm still clinging on to my 20's, just about. Oceana is a proper chav-den and no mistake.
Not just desperate blokes! I once got dragged onto the bed in the French boudoir room! Wouldn't normally mind but she wa a reyt moose! I crapped missen! S)
well, style is my middle name... usually, except for when I'm in Leeds on a Friday... and then it all gets a bit messy.
I'll check it out.
cheers

Go To Bibis To Eat Beforehand You might as well get use to the term "expensive as hell" before you get to Wembley.
Has that place moved? Thought it was on Greek Street but we went on a night out from work the other week to the Akbars, and I'm sure that's in the location that Bibi's was in years ago when I went.
Yes it has It's now just beyond the railway arches across the road from Chaophraya in a bigger location. Akbars? Cack-bars. All chain Indian restaurants are a big bag o'B*ll*cks.

Nope it was definitely Oceana! On a works do if i remember rightly, think the aforementioned moose was the secretary!
RE: Yes it has Must admit that I wasn't too impressed with it. A few years since I was last out in Leeds (not since I worked there in fact).....used to like the Italian opposite the Scabby Taps but that's now an Indian. Can you recommend that seafood place in the old post office building though.....ar lass has a taste for lobster but we won't beat Cape May, NJ for the price!
don't know about the seafood place.. but we went to 'the restaurant' next door a couple of weeks ago, that was lovely... fig and goats cheese salad... yum!!!
