And ensure it's that one too when you open a new tab?

Having a nightmare with mine due to an annoying search engine I seem to have inadvertently obtained.

    Thanks.

Click on the righthand button at the end of the address bar and then click on settings, click on the start up button that says open specific page, then cliick on set pages, then enter the url of page you want, that should set home page.
then click on the search options, choose which one you want as the default search engine

Thanks Mark - I have set both these to Google previously and this does seem to open the first page as this when I first load Chrome after logging on. However, each extra tab then comes up as AVG (isearch.avg.com) which is my internet security. It's not the end of the world but the search engine is annoying and every time I have to redirect to Google. After a while it gets frustrating.

Journo Tyke. I had the same problem and took nearly half a day to solve it. The only way you can do it is uninstall google chrome. The search engine it gave me was sharebear. its awful. I unistalled google chrome and sorted it. Dont waste your time messing with settings like i did.
