Not sure i want to change things? The players gave everything for flickers, Flickers appeared well up for the challenge, and not sure if the players need lifting with a new manager? (Especially one without any experience)

So ..... Is it over to Flickers.... Or once again have the club fecked up again by Not announcing a change until after Flckers won our Yorkshire derby?

They will have fecked up if they don't announce that he's manager until at least the end of the season tomorrow. I just have a horrible feeling that they're going to get it wrong and bring Branson in!

Burnley cup game was not a good performance..

It was pretty much the same as we've seen most of the season, except with a bit of luck thrown in.

Don't know, I was simply posting in this thread, But I've read many times on here that we've had 3 good performances under Flicker which I obviously disagree with.

As long as they choose the right man I'll be happy. If they bring someone other than Flicker in who gets us some good results, then I'll be just as satisfied as if they do what seems to be the right thing at the moment in appointing Flicker until the end of the season. What I don't want to happen is that a risk is taken in someone that people don't believe in, that's just going to end badly.

Flicker seems to be the option with the least risk associated at the moment and to me seems to be the obvious choice.

Err yes it was a deserved win, but it wasn't a good game and there was plenty of that nonsensical sideways, backwards slow predictable passing that wasn't much different when KH was in charge,. and Burnley were awful. As I said it wasn't a good performance

Are you talking about today tarntyke?
I thought we were positive, aggressive, attacking and effective.
Harwood and daggers were possessed they wanted the ball chased it down and showed for the ball!
If you thought that was boring, I would love to see a match you thought was good

I said it wasn't a good performance against Burnley, I never said it wasn't deserved. I'll take any sort of win, but i won't accept a performance is good if it is not. I have seen 1 good, nay, great performance and win under Flicker and long may it continue if he is to be the new boss.
    DO YOU GET IT NOW?

    Did you go?

Today summed up everything hill got wrong, there was no tippy tappy rubbish, the ball was played forward, both to feet and in the air, quite quickly. I don't remember very much in the way of sideways predictable passing at all - until maybe after we were two nil up. There's nothing wrong with retaining the ball when you're already winning though.

Dagnall ran them all over, but most impressive to me was Marlon Harewood, who I haven't been a fan of. He absolutely schooled their centre backs, held the ball up, won everything in the air, ran the channels. He missed his chance but I thought he was immense.

Perks and Dawson were just what I've come to expect every week, combative, solid and dependable.

No issues at the back either. Though I accept that the opposition were absolute gash today - but you can only beat what is put in front of you.

I'm not sure what you want tarntyke - today was as close to a complete performance I've seen for a good while. Completely untroubled at the back (ok they hit the bar with their one decent chance), comfortable with the ball, penetrative possession, a first half we dominated, chances galore, post hit twice, to the point everyone couldn't believe we weren't two or three up and was saying how the second half might be the same old story and we'd lose - but we were as good again and got a deserved couple of goals.

So to settle my inquisitiveness, what would constitute a good game to you?

No read my posts properly, I'm simply disagreeing with the view that we have had 3 good performances under Flicker. I've simply stated that the Burnley game wasn't a good performance albeit a deserved win and much of the play wasn't different from when KH was manager. Today was something different I'm still buzzing.

No probs mate. As I said in this thread I'm still buzzing it was excellent all over the pitch. I love it when we play with pace and shove right up and at em like we did today. Leeds were poor and I'll not get carried away, but how much was that down to the way we went at them.

Praise of the highest order to all concerned today.
