I took my old man last night and he hasnt been to Oakwell since Hristov graced the turf. However he remarked countless times about how laid back Barnsley supporters are and how there were people of all ages there and he didnt feel threatened at all, despite it being packed. I was quite suited by this as you tend to lose a touch of perspective when you regularly watch games.

Out of 18,000ish Barnsley fans there were three complete nobheads and a smattering of numptons in the West Stand who thought it was cool and high-fived them. I dont think its that bad.

You hope the majority of people see them for what they are and teach their kids not to end up with their only achievement being escourted from a footy ground by a Steward.

Focus on the positives, you dont have to watch games at Elland Road, The Den, Upton Park or St. Andrews.
