PA system was working well done for finally getting it fixed even if employees of the club did tell someone a few little white lies about it
AND... We won despite playing crap, which surely bodes well? Folk are allus moaning that we don't win when we play badly, and when we do, they moan anyway!
nah that doesnt bode well my philosophy has always been that if you take a lucky victory as a positive then you are turning a blind eye to the glaring problems and that cant be good. ie AR's view of the amtch is all about how we grinded out a result and played well. we didnt, there was no grinding involved, simply a lucky penalty.
The penalty may have been lucky... But we should have had one a couple of minutes later without doubt. And having spent a large amount of time looking at AR's body language, I don't think he was pleased with it. Rick Holden certainly wasn't. He also appeared to be telling them off a little while they were warming down.
The penalty wasn't lucky It happened near where I was sat & it was a clear penalty. Also, it was a penalty, although not given, when their defender rode on Conlon's shoulders shortly afterwards.

Yeah to be fair I couldn't be 100% sure, just looked like Austin was looking for it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a pen. Robbie said after the game that it was a definite pen when I asked him, and he was a lot closer than me.
maybe ritchie is defending in public and criticising in private. his role model fergie is very good at that
I think photographic evidence is required? Give JLWBL a digital camera for the next home game. Then we can all make a judgement. 'Aint democracy a wonderful thing?

Dad's at work at the moment but I'm sure he would suggest you come into the "crowd" (Ponty) to talk to him/her especially if the weather is as nice as it was yesterday.
