On the subject of gypsies / travellers

They have moved from Kingstone leaving behind football pitches full of rubbish, excrement and other refuse. I had the dubious honour of stepping in to avoid a nasty assault on Saturday evening. I had three teenagers in my front garden hiding from a gypsy boxer who was going to beat them up - brave lad seeing as they were all probably no older than 14 and he was a 20 odd year old boxer sporting a fine South Paw shiner. He came storming up until I put him straight and sent him on his way - thankfully with no trouble.

As a parting gesture from our fine upstanding travelling community it would appear they tried to strip the cable from the remnants of the Kingstone School junction box - god bless them, poor souls that they are!!!!!!

That only happens after a few pints!

 

They cause trouble everywhere they go and their fear of rubbish bins is bordering on the irrational. No council or local community should have to keep putting up with them.

 

Hi Mario, the missus had a good idea - why not dock their benefits for the cost of the clean-up operation instead of taxpayers money being used.

why is it that if u drop a *** end int tarn centre u get a £60 on the spot fine.. yet these gypos get away swilling out there sh ite on playing fields...

 

Fair enough, it was a genuine question! I had no idea if they could claim or not.

 

Something needs to be done mate because they are a bloody nuisance. I'd love to know how much it costs each council to have them in the area.

Absolute scumbags. End of. I think i ran into the same cheeky chappy as tykes puppy on saturday afternoon. Sporting a massive gash above his eye and a scar that went from his mouth right behind his ear. He told me (in a irish accent) that he fights for money and somebody just got top side of him and could I Give him a lift to the hospital. I always feel uneasy in their presence mainly because they have nothing to lose and are capable of owt. I work very near to the site on broadway and they left it in a right state. They are a lawless society and the police are scared to death of em.
All these who say they are misunderstood and good people, let em camp on your front lawn for a week and i reckon your opinion may change.

I drive past that field every day, at least 6 times a day.
Yes there is some rubbish left, but it was in rubbish bags piled neatly, until the LOCAL KIDS went and ripped them open, I know this because I was the stupid pillock that stopped them. The only rubbish left by the travellers was at the end near the trees and that was minimal.
Yes they are ****s and scumbags at times, but to say they left a mess is just not true.

When ive got too much rubbish for my bin i take it to the dump site. Its not as if they havent got any vans to nip it all to the tip. That comment you just made is riddiculous. Ahh bless em, they piled all their ***** up nice and tidy in a lovely pile. The absolute minimum they could do is take it away and leave it as they left it. They dont pay taxes so why should they take advantage of the right afforded to them when you do pay your taxes and have someone collect it for them. They are not nice people and they have very little respect.

 

Its disgusting, **** everywhere. I hope the local put them straight like they did. In Lundwood when I was a youth. Not from Lundwood but went to school there and the locals deffo did enough to get rid.
