(And congratulations to everyone who walked to Derby - fantastic achievement)

Huddersfield fans also did a walk this weekend. A circular walk, starting and ending at Huddersfield, visiting Bradford and Leeds. They did it in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Made me wonder about whether another walk might start and finish at Oakwell? Via Rotherham and Sheffield woul be around 33 miles. Just a thought. Would be nice to get a welcome at Oakwell for a change.

I'm sure the Derby Walkers want to be contemplating another walk by now :)

Did they get a welcoming walk around the pitch yesterday, or were they all collapsed in a heap somewhere?:)

No, Derby didnt mention it, although I think they did provide food and drinks for them.
There was a photo outside the ground, and we saw a few arrive at the Harvester pub, looking in alot better shape than I expected.

Sounds a nice idea that. Just so long as it's arranged on a day that I can't make :)

I disagree. Brilliant idea to do something for charity but I wouldn't go with yet another walk. Variety is the spice of life, less is more etc. We'd not want people to get bored of the same charity event taking place everytime something is done. Could do three peaks challenge, man vs food, bungy jump or something totally different. People raise money in many ways so i'm sure folks could agree on a way that's not been done yet.

Derby did provide food and drinks but no recognition at all from the Barnsley contingent( players or staff )
