I know it's only a game and whatever, but its something different to talk about than bloody Butterfield.

 

On his time with Marseille, was he in the team/squad that won the UEFA cup (Drogba's last game for them)?

 

I believe he wasn't in the squad. Marseille didn't win they were runners up in 2004.

He did score against Real Madrid in the Champions League though

 

That was a bloody good game that, it was my personal preference over PES & FIFA at the time, shame they never made another one after that.

I just wikepedia'd it, and it seems that it was the semi's, with Drogba scoring 2.

Can't seem to find the team for that game though.

I'm sure someone on here said that Mido was once picked over Drogba?

 

It was a corner from the left that was drilled in and Drogba met it on the volley while making a run to the near post. Top quality goal. I seem to remember Mido's sizeable head being somewhere around on that night.

 

Drogba is/was such a good player. I can't remember that match but it doesn't surprise me that Drogba scored a beast.

Shows how good Mido was/could be again if he was playing along side him though
