Are you happy to see James Bree play RB for the rest of the season or should we try to bring in someone with more experience and use him sparingly?

I`d use him with Williams as back up.

I'd have no problem with him being given the opportunity to make the position his own for the rest of the season.

I'd rather us use Bree, and have Williams as his back up. Think it would be a waste of funds when we still need a striker and a centre back.

Shame we don't have a quality experienced centre half for him to play along side.

Bree every time for me. It's part of LJs remit to develop our younger players so this is a great chance both for player and manager to develop.

Thought he had a good game at Shrewsbury.

A bit naive maybe, the way he gave the penalty away but his general play and reading of the game were good.

Involved in the cracking move that put Marley through to score but ruled offside.

Huge potential and will only get better.

I for one am pleased Wabara left and Bree is more than adequate to keep that position for rest of the season and beyond.

I would have liked to see him at RB from day one.

Watched the full game on Barnsley Player, he played it simple all time and is passing was excellent.

Definitely go with Bree. He's more just good enough just the consistency which may let him down for now. Williams should be used when Brees form dips.

Give the lad a go, overall I think he's done quite well.

100%. Looks to be a really good prospect. Just hope any injury worries are behind him otherwise it'll knock all the confidence out of him.

I think in the few opportunities he's had, James Bree has shown more promise than what Mason Holgate did. I'd be more than happy for him to play there for the remainder of the season. With Williams as cover.

You've got to remember though, he's only 18 or so, so we don't want to push him into too much. And he's a central midfielder by trade allegedly.

Definitely should be given his chance. The only way for the club to prosper in the current climate is through producing & developing young players.
They do need the old heads round them though & the recent additions to the squad have demonstrated this.

Re: I'd give the lad a chance

2 decent signings in close season & we'll be reight.

Can't see any signings beyond end of season happening, which is a shame, as wherever we finish at the end of the season it will be hard to push on.
Next season will be more young hopefuls & loans & short term contracts.

I don't want a change of Chairman or Manager, but we do need a proper vision. At the moment we are bailing out a sinking canoe. The water is cold at this time of year too.

Bree would've been first choice all season for me. I'd start him every game possible between now & May. Really rate him
