    Get in!
A good result and a much better performance.
Must admit I was somewhat worried before the game having seen the team selection. But after a nervy half hour we grew into the game and looked good value for the win. We should have had more with Cole and Winnall having good opportunities, and obviously the missed penalty. I will take the one goal though, it's something to build on.
Rochdale were nowhere near as good as made out, typical Hill stuff, tippy tippy, powderpuff up front.
Ramage shored things up, and I would have to say Luke Berry was MOTM, he had quality second half.

Like I say, it's something to build on and we can only get better.
The only negatives are Winnall and Treacy who flattered to deceive. Good to see young Bree have a good game.

At last some character and desire from the team, and apart from a couple of shaky moments in the first half, Rochdale huffed and puffed without really troubling us.
Great credit to Peter Ramage who certainly made a big difference in organizing the defence. We must learn to take our chances though.
Also credit to Luke Berry on probably his best display in a Reds Shirt.
All in all an enjoyable afternoon. Well Done Barnsley!
