Hello all, We have 2 tickets available for next weeks Monty Python gig at the o2 in Londononium. My wife bought four for me for Xmas and unfortunately the couple that were going with us, have dropped out. They were £150 each but we are willing to listen to reasonable offers. The tickets were bought through one of the unofficial sites however, which basically legally tout, so we understand that we will lose money on them. Please feel free to offer a lot less as we understand we will have to take a big hit, we just don't want them to go to waste. Regards Tezza
What night you going? We're there Setdi 5th. I didn't pay £150 a ticket though. Ours were £27.50. Cheap seats right at the back. The O2 arena is on the Greenwich peninsula and I think our seats are somewhere in Shepherds Bush.
Stacy bought tickets when it was one night only... Then 10 minutes later they put another 5 'one night only's on'. The unfunny part is she had tickets for the Tuesday (The one which sold out in 45 seconds, but it gave her 3 minutes to buy them, couldnt find her cards they went, therefore she went on an unnamed unoffical vendor and paid 5 times the face value. So, we are going on Tuesday, to the one night only gig, of which there are now about 10.
I hope that all made sense, Ive had 2 bottles of wine and my fingers arent really doing what my brain is telling them to do. The *******s.
I was in the virtual website queue for the original gig, it flashed up that it had sold out, then instantly said more dates were available and I was at the front of the queue. I had the pick of which night to choose from and went for the Setdi. Result! Weekend in London. But that came back to bite me on the arse as the weekend we're down in that London, the Tour de France is in Yorkshire. We head back up to Yorkshire and the Tour de France rolls in to London. The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away. Meanwhile, in Africa, children are going to bed with nothing to eat and dying of AIDS.
That brings it all to home, I'm gald that you are supportive of the poor cyclists, running their blood to water in one of the most boring 'sports' imaginable. I'm in Edinburgh all weekend on a stag do, getting well and truly w@nkered, game on.
Didn't I see something about there being a cinema broadcast too... For one night only... Those pension pots are well and truly looking good
