there was a tribe, lead by a man with a passion for his people determined to see it right and climb the top of the mountain, to be the biggest tribe in the area the summit was reached after years of trying and everyone in this mans tribe was elated with the success. Slowly but surely what goes up must come down.the tribe started to crumble, its greatest warriors leaving, bribed by those around them. young upsurpers attacked the wise old leader and the way he ran things. the old man decided enough was enough and the tribe had lost too much money trying to be a big tribe. the leader left the tribe close to vanishing from the face of the earth. THen after months of inactivty by the witch doctor a new tribe leader was found. A man from over the seas and london who offered a way out of the pits of despair. but he was beaten to it by a man with dark motives who lead the tribe into a new year. Suddenly a knight in shining white armour appeared on the hill, Ill save you, ill make you a grand club, ill follow the dream til it ends. off he went destroying the work of the ice general and and brought in a general of his own heart. The warriors didnt take to him and it showed, losing battle after battle. The tribe getting smaller and smaller, weaker and weaker, no warrior wanting to fight for the tribe. Then suddenly the great white hope hopped off, the tribes battle funds missing. and the tribe cried for a new saviour,The aiiiii soft knight and his fellow companion. They used thier own jewels and got the foundations for teh tribes success back on the road. Removing the cancerous problems at the hear tof the tribe, putting general richtea biscuit in charge and warriors flocked to the tribe. the peasants were happier than they had been for years. Although all was not well. The court jester wasnt very amusing and looked to seek his lords favour by digging gossip up about those who disented from the written plans of the tribe and having them banished from the meeting place, threatened with severe punishments of work.
"great white hope hopped off, the tribes battle funds missing" If you are refering to Mr Ridsdale (or indeed any current or former BFC Board Member/cahirman) and are infering that he took funds from the club that he should not have, consider yourself lucky. I do not belive that Mr Ridsdale took anything he should not have. I am informed that he put his own money in and lost it. This may not be true. It's a rumour. They are part of football. I like the rest of it though...
RE: "great white hope hopped off, the tribes battle funds missing" im refering to the fact a seasons running costs were used up within a few months of the season and the club were hours from administration.
