How does this season rank in the history of the club? I can't ever remember having just two league wins going into mid February.

I would imagine its on course to be the worst ever season in BFC history for win % and/or points total ( comparative to days when it was 2 points for a win)

Probably worst ever season for goals scored as well.

Nivver mind BFC history, there's every chance of setting the record for the worst football league season of all time - currently 20 points.

Quite frightening to see that stat, especially after last season!

Derby beat that though last time they came down from the Premier League. 11 points I think (without looking it up).

Wouldn't that be slightly different with only 20 teams in the prem so 8 less games?

Just done the calcs. Based on Derby getting 11 points from 38 games we would need 14 to beat that from 46 on a points per game basis. We’ve already got that….doubt we’ll get to 20 though.

True but you could say that given their hopeless form that season they could have ended up with 15 points or less even with another 24 to play for.

That's correct. I just checked. They won just one game all season, drew 8 and lost 29. Darren Moore won their Player Of The Season award, despite playing in a defence which conceded over 100 goals
