I took my 8 year old daughter to Wembley yesterday. It was her first Barnsley match, not mine I hasten to add. She was full of questions both before and during the game. Afterwards she was almost in tears. But on the way home she turned to me and asked who we were playing next. I told her it was Watford on Wednesday night and she said 'are we going?'. Unfortunately because of work I can't get away in time to make it to the game, but I have promised her that she will be there at the next home game, so at least Barnsley have managed to gain at least one more fan and hopefully it will be the start of a long and happy (as well as unhappy) friendship

    Fantastic!

No doubt there will be some poor kids scarred for life because of the idotic supporters who choose to take rivalry a little too far. It's really good to hear that your daughter had a great time and long may her enthusiasm for Barnsley FC continue.
