I moved house a few months ago. I phoned the club up about a month ago telling them I needed to change address with them for when my season ticket renewal was being sent out. They told me it was too late as the cd (? possibly with all the addresses on) had already been done so it was too late.
So, my Dad has got his but mine is on its way to someone elses house and any future correspondence from the club will be going there also.
Time to write to Gordon methinks.

If you paid a small fee to...

....Royal Mail or whoever they are at the moment all your mail would be automatically redirected for a year.

You could suggest they use a memory stick rather than a CD. Updateable and reusable, so it would be cheaper in the long run too.

No need to thank me BFC, always thinking!

Moved house this year

Barnsley FC have been the epitome of efficiency with regard to all new correspondence. You need to relax.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

I went down to Oakwell the other day to complain about something, and it pretended it wasn't in. Saw it up Grove Street pretending to listen to its Ipod while coming back from the shops.

I paid the small fee to Royal Mail for 3 months

Until I had changed all my address details. The final one to change was with BFC who didn't want to know.
Main reason I am going to write to Gordon is about the lack of options when buying a season ticket compared to other clubs. Personally, I am disapointed that I cannot afford my season ticket this year. Its a yearly thing, something I look forward to. I go every year with my Dad to renew. It gets the excitement going for the new season during the boring closed season. However this year, as I cannot afford to pay out the £300 in one go I cannot renew whereas I know that at other clubs I could have afforded to have bought a ticket.
Its just a shame their are no options which I am sure is preventing many other fans from backign the club.

You've got 3 months re-directed mail

If you'd got your arse in gear and advised all relevant organisations then there'd be no problem. Don't blame someone else for your own slackness.

If you're not renewing

Then you will be either:

a) Paying on the day - cutting your nose off to spite your face, you'll be wasting money.

b) Not going at all, in which case please remove your whining face from this website and leave it to those of us who will be turning up and watching the games.

Well Rosco, thanks for that

I will be at all the games next season, paying on the gate.
I think I've been posting on the BBS for about 7 or 8 years now and I used to be one of the most optimistic posters yet it seems after all this time I have finally been covereted into another moaning whinger. And not only that, I'm not a season ticket holder anymore either so I'm no longer a real fan. How things change.

Have to say though...

... it does seem a bitdaft going to all the games and not having a season ticket. If you genuinely can't raise the dosh on a credit card or something, please accept my apologies, otherwise it's like burning over £150.
