Kevin Keegan He'd probably do it for the buzz. ... and wherever he went (anywhere) there would be a buzz with him as manager. BFC needs dragging from a slump, and he would be BOX OFFICE
Keegan would certainly get the place buzzing but i cant see it happening, I think Cryne would shy away from someone who might bring publicity to the club.
has been mentioned............... http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=148551&posts=9#M1001378
Yes, but you are overlooking one thing, to quote Allan Greene...... "Kevin Keegan has the tactical nous of an orang-utang"
well more realistic would be Mark Robbins, Nigel Adkins, Steve Cotterill and maybe Danny.
But not a serial quitter who can't do a lot with out plenty of dosh. Who set the England team back quite a bit. Who hasn't managed for a few years except for a short period at Newcastle last year.
Let's go for Shearer eh ?

never had that sort of ambition I give you Allan Clarke He got the place buzzing from the day his arrival was announced
Afgee Farnham. Dream team if we had money. Scholes and Neville, player coach and player manager. Anybody else got similar thoughts? I know we cant afford the above!
Gary Neville player manager was my first shout, could be the next stage of his career if that is what he wants. At least he would create interest & put bums on seats & also have good contacts, because lets be fair there is no gaurantee that any manager will be a sucsess so you may as well go with someone who stirs up some interest.
