I don't believe we actually have a style of play. One game we will get the ball out to the wingers and get crosses in, next game we are lumping it long. Sometimes the full backs are bombing on, sometimes they're not.

I don't think we are a long ball team like a Stoke or Sheff Utd but we certainly aren't a passing team like Arsenal or Wigan (now Martinez is there). I wouldn't say our style is counter-attacking like Villa, or go for it attacking like Man Utd.

I don't think Davey has a clue what is strongest team is at all. Back 5 is pretty much sorted (Steele, Hassell, Foster, Moore, Kozluk), midfield is anyone's guess. Will Hamill and JCR be on wings? Is Halfredssen going to be in the middle? If so, which one out of Anderson and Colace?

If the players and the manager are as confused as me, then no wonder we are bottom of the league again.

Very true on both accounts and Ive been saying it a while.
Whether teams win or lose when you watch the game you get a general feeling of what their tactics are, With us im still not sure what the plan A is?
We also have nothing from set pieces except long high towards Moore. It never works, now I dont mind the odd one going in long, but variation is what the decent sides have and we have nothing different to offer. We hardly ever hit the target from a dead ball either.

But going back to the gameplan, hopefully we will see the hallmark of one with Grey up front, boggy close to him, with maybe hammill making himself available too?

He changes the strikers too much...

if he would let two play consistantly for 5-8 games they may get to know each other.

Not taking chances, wasting posession, making silly mistakes

    think that covers it.
