Adrain Durham, just hearing his voice irritates me, he's the type of bloke I get up a hour earlier on a morning just so I can dislike him longer

He can be controversial but he is not the reason I stopped listening to Talk Sport. No that honour is reserved for our very own Spurs and Leeds fan Darren Gough. I haven't listened to Talk Sport for the best part of two years now because of him and Ronnie Irani.

Gough's comment the other day "if Barnsley were playing in the Champions Leage l'd drive 3 hrs to Oakwell and take the day off work to take the kids" in response to the poor support at the first Champions league tie at Manchesters council house.

Course he would. It would be a big game, with the tv cameras there (he would be listening to the Spurs game through his ipod though).

There are so many other things I would prefer to do with those 2. Slapping may come into it, probably would actually now I think about it.

Oh aye he'd be there for the big game, just like when we played Swansea in the play off final and he turned up for that and even managed to slime his way into the dressing room. Its lucky he's not colour blind or he wouldn’t have known which dressing room was ours. They play in red Darren.

I've never had an issue with Daren Gough - he's said many times that Barnsley will always be his first team, and he keeps an eye on Spurs because they're local to him these days. He's a successful fella and he doesn't drag the town down with stories about how hard and bleak it is...

Unlike Michael Parkinson. Now that bloke really does irritate me. Only time he ever refers to Barnsley is to talk about a backward, flat caps and whippets small town in Yorkshire... How him and dickie bird, and Geoff boycott took on the world, didn't they do well considering? Etc etc

I agree about Parky but I don’t have a problem with Dickie. I've met him a couple of times and he is always courteous and friendly and his love for Barnsley is obvious. Most importantly he is a season ticket holder and he buys it himself - no freeloading from DB.

    He's a f\/cling horrible bloke.

I'll never forget last season for days on end he mentioned him going to watch England v Montenegro than as soon as he realised Kevin Davis was in the squad he continually flagged off The FA, Capello and Davies himself. It was almost as if he was on a 1 man crusade to get people to boycott the game.

How anyone hasn't rang in just to tell him to f\/ck off is beyond me

Btw, I think he intentionally irritates - he's like the king of all WUMs -that's the format, they adopt two polarised views, start a daft argument, then get people to phone in because it's all so ridiculous. If he's like that in real life the bloke is a tit.
