Still cant understand why he went for the tight angle as opposed to across the keeper.

I remember looking around in total bewilderment after I'd managed to prize my head out of my hands. I have never seen so many puzzled, shocked & devastated faces. Written on everyones face in large capital letters was HOW DID HE DO THAT?

Because he is not a natural striker, never has been and never will be.

Not scoring was a poor effort.

Not hitting the target from there was hopeless

Not troubling the goalkeeper was just not up to the required standard.

Trying to go near post instead of across the goal where, had the keeper got to it, he would have had time for a ham sandwich before knocking it in was, in my book, unforgiveable.

How is it that a vcentre forward that made the England centre half and one of the best centre backs in Italy look average can turn in a complete opposite display next time out. Unbelieveable.

The hero of Chelsea is now the goat of Wembley. I fail to see why, after that, he should wear the shirt again.
Very, very dissapointed.
