If the former international match fixer was there was he being investigated too or was he in on it? If so does that mean that somewhere along the line the telegraph have approached a former match fixer for help in the investigation?
It seems the common denominator and the 'glue' that got these people to take the bait is the agents. Sam talked of a 30 year friendship letting him down, this was his agent who he trusted I assume to organise his affairs, meetings etc. Seems like they changed the name of one agent to another in the JFH and Wright sting. It's clear the Telegraph saw the route to these stings were the agents. I haven't heard much about them yet, despite them cashing in on the trust and distrust of their stakeholders.
Sam's agent is unlikely to be poacher turned gamekeeper. Google Mark Curtis. Not dodgy at all. No, not one bit.... Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
I would argue that the common denominator is greed, these blokes are paid money most of us can only dream of but it seems its never enough
Never said they were dodgy, my point is they get a large fee for protecting the interests of their clients yet the Telegraph saw agents as a integral part of pulling the sting off, and achieved it.
