Energy levels and power is what's delivered the title for Portsmouth they've looked incredibly physical and apart from 20 mins at oakwell when they blew us away I wouldn't say they've built a team full of technical players but have gone for strong, physical lads with incredible engines.
Recruitment team take note, more in the mould of pines please if that's what it takes.

They had players that could beat a man too which always makes a difference in tight games.

It's futile trying to sign a team full of players at this level that will bring big returns, how much did we waste on Dallas, Shaw, Watters and Cosgrove in agents fees, wages and transfer fees.
Those are four signings that we could have paid for a couple of tried and tested centre backs instead.
It's appears It's not a case of we can't, it's we don't want to, everything revolves around future potential and return on investment but very little to the here and now of getting out of this league.

It’s been a massive issue all season. I’ve seen people on here claim we aren’t trying but I generally see sides that are bigger, stronger & quicker than our lads rather than any kind of lack of effort
