after Derby scored there second goal and we were waiting for Lucas to get sorted. The Derby players were passing and moving keeping warmed up, with billy Davis having a word, they looked very keen. Our lads stood chatting looking at the ground hands on hips and good old Mr Davey stood arms thinking about whats for tea. Im afraid we lack passion and Im sorry to say its Daveys fault.

    agree fully

he never even called one player over to offer advice, suggestions or motivation.

Spineless performance by the team and tactically inept performance by the manager. Our players had accepted defeat the moment they came out of the tunnel.

    No mate....

our players were doing it too for a period. They were doing it at the same time, its just they did it longer than us. the time that we weren't doing it though, our lads were standing over the medics with Lucas.

    RE: Reid was the one...

to be fair I can see what napoleon dynamite means because a few of the players did have a ball passed to them to pass between themselves but from what they were doing it wasnt worth the effort (or lack of).

Shouldnt the manager have been calling them over to the dugout and giving them a quick talk? We'd just gone two nil down and not one of them looked like they could give a toss.

    Look at Derby

No superstars in there team. However well organised and play with alot of conviction. I know it doesnt mean much. However if you look at the players. They had there heads down. Someone has to lead. That is DAVEY! The problems are evident in the smallest things.

    spot on

Not denying players made an effort, but no leadership, and no team spirit.

Got to cut your cloth, though.

If we got 20,000+ at home every week like Derby, we too could spend millions. Last time we spent money we didn't have, we ended up with Doyle locking t'gates and bolting t'gates because we've got to sweeat t'assets dun't tha know?
