    Are you serious?

    Suker scored an average of a goal every 2 games throughout his entire playing career...... had massive success in Spain and didnt do too shabby at Arsenal. He was crap at West Ham - but they bought an ageing player hoping to get out of what he'd achieved previously.

    To suggest Davor Suker was a 1 tournament wonder is 100% completely incorrect.

    .....I can't remember him scoring a hat trick in any other world cup final other than 66 so factually - in answer to your question - I can't think of a better - or more correct - answer.

    That wasnt the question.

    One tournament wonder was the question, and Suker was a well established star on the continent well before 1998.

    Your ignorance to european football and that fact he scored 205 club goals (110 in 239 Spanish games and 45 in 69 for his country) means he was anything but a one tournament wonder.

    Mention Suker to a Croat and he is still their golden boy of football - even though he packed in 2003.
