After a poor start we scored and could and should have been 4 or 5 one up at half time. That was by playing a so called one up front. When we went two up front we sort of lost our way and didn't really create anything.I'm quite sure if we had kept the same 11 and same system we would have won that game.So for me one up front isn't negative if the midfield support the striker like we did in the first half.Just my opinion.

Agreed. It all fell to pieces when we went to 4-4-2.

I think if we want to play 2 up front then we need to play a diamond or 3-5-2.

We haven't got a physical central midfielder when we play 4-4-2 so we look light in midfield

However on the other hand playing 4-5-1 we look light upfront because the ball doesn't stick to the striker

We didn't seem to know how to play 442.

The issue with 451 is we don't get enough nrn forward AND we don't or can't get the ball wide and commit their defenders...
