I think that side is 91% spot on, with just the right mid slot to work on. RNL is a good player but they seem to want to shoe-horn him into the left back slot instead of putting him on the right. Its also worth noting that Im pretty damn happy with a lot of the young lads who beyond the 11 named are more than capable understudies and more than that in some cases
No chance RNL will start, won't even be sub. Need a striker, and the system is wrong . Bailey or Abbott in Middle
My team exactly. If one of the midfielders gets injured or whatever then bring Abbott in. I'd go with Nyatanga and Cranie too because a left foot at left centre half makes your job so much easier, I know from a personal level. But if they're playing with a big brute up front then I may be tempted to play Big Jean to ruffle him up.
Nana won't start, I see him more as an impact player coming on as sub. If Hemmings isn't fit, then I'd start Rose & go 4-4-2
Still new faces to come in.... I'd go Turnbull Brown, Crainie, naytanga, dudgeon New signing, bailey, hourihane, Jennings Winnall & new signing Sub: Davies, Mvoto, Abbott, berry, RNL, nana, rose. Don't think Hemings will be fit for first game. Based on rumours, hope at least one possibly two quality signings before season kicks off
Considering the age of the team and the fact that most have never played together before I was really impressed. Just think we need an experienced midfield general to tie it all together. Redders get yer boots on!
looking forward to new season as i have always done , watching us play yesterday it was refreshing to see us try and play football . rather than watching kennedy long ball to ogrady all the game
------------------Turnbull-------------------- Brown----Cranie---Nyatanga---Dudgeon ------------------Bailey---------------------- -----------Berry--------Hourihane--------- ----Winnall------Rose------Jennings------ Abbott in for Bailey if he's not fit.
I cannot see Turnbull starting next week, no matter how **** Davies is. Turnbull is obviously struggling and Wilson may feel it's better to play a fully fit Davies. Back four has to be the back four that started yesterday in my opinion. Nyatanga looked a different player to what he was last season and when Dudgeon goes back to Hull, he can move to left back and M'Voto can come in. He'll play three in midfield with Berry and Hourihane and hopefully Bailey but if he's injured, think it will be Abbott. The three up top will be Jennings, Winnall and either Rose or the new forward. Eventually it will be Hemmmings but a new winger and forward wi provide great competition up there and looks exciting to see.
