I can only hope that, should the worst happen and we get panned tomorrow we don't get a raft of: Davy Out, Sack the board, blah, blah, blah everywhere. It is a new team and it will take some time to get everything right. Just because we have 11 new players doesn't mean we have the best 11 players in the division and will sweep all before us. Just give 'em a fair chance eh?
I reckon we'll need it Can see us being in the bottom three at the end of September - but who knows...
RE: I reckon we'll need it I dunno, I'm optimisitc of an improvement on last season's position - if the new signings are as good as they have been touted on here, maybe a considerable improvement. The problem is that Davey is going to be under serious pressure to perform, what with the brass he's spent. If Davey and the squad fail to cut the mustard how long will it be before the fans (and more importantly for him, the chairman) are on his back?
100% agreed mate It may take 3/4 months to click, like the Premiership season. Hopefully it will come earlier than this, but I just don't think we can expect miracles. Things WILL take time, im quite sure. If things aren't going so well though I really hope the boo-boys bite their bottom lip and grit their teeth. I just hope it's not too late though if/when they do start to perform.
Don't forget, Coventry are in a similar situation to us as regards the amount of signings they have made.

scnuthorpe, colchester, blackpool, hull, bristol, Q.P.R, all teams tht are possibly worse than us finish above all these and i'm happy + beat wednesday and united in at least one game
Maybe even do a bit better than that... Take a few points off the top teams (like Wolves and Brum last season) and a victory against Washday and I'd be happy!!!
