I've just got this message coming up when I use Hotmail.

On investigating further this comes up...mostly dated 4/24/2024...I thought I had turned Onedrive off some years before, but it has started adding them without my knowledge.

On clicking the pink bar, it shows all my emails going back several years.
Are these just backups on the Cloud that I can delete or do I need to cut and paste them somewhere else to get back below 5 Gig...if so where do I put them, and how do I stop it happening again...all whilst saving my old emails?
    Any help will be appreciated.

Should be just backups, I've just had a similar thing happen to me. Unlinked my pc from one drive and deleted everything from one drive that I didn't need backing up

Thanks for that, I'm worried about losing the emails though, are you certain they are just backups?
Where would I look on the PC to find the originals?

What email app do you use? Hotmail and Gmail are all cloud based anyway and usually only retain for limited time

I use hotmail.com, but I can go back well over 10 years and still find things.

Those .apk files are android applications. Presumably from some mobile phone you have had in the past that's backed them up to there. I'd guess you can delete them all.

I believe emails don't get stored in your OneDrive quota, only the attachments to them which will be in a separate attachments folder, so you are safe to delete the files without worrying about emails.
