Gerrim signed, okay only seen him once but him and Butterfield were outstanding today. Played some great balls across the park when some of our players (Jamal being one) were going backwards.

As for Butterfield, he was running at deefenders and causing all sorts of problems, looked real promising today and i'd be suprised if he doesn't start next week with a performance like that, and he hit the crossbar. There was one point where he took the ball past Ireland, Garrido and another guy before playing in Macken or Odejayi.

    Did very little wrong.

Needs to learn to jump, though - otherwise no complaints.

He seemed to be the type of player that assumes authority on the field. He was ordering the other players around throughout. The significant thing was that he seems to have the presence to do it - the other players didnt seem to reac badly to it. I would be quite happy if we signed him - still it can be very missleading to base an opinion on just one game - I can remember a certain midfielder from Sunderland that looked a world beater until we signed him.
