Online superstore isn't working

Again!!

Now there's a surprise. Bunch of no-hopers the lot of em.

 

I find the situation with the website unbelievable, remind me again which industry did our ‘benefactor make his millions?

 

Right weve had a go at Gordon Shepherd, now lets slate Mr Cyrne shall we.

Bloody ridiculous.

 

Not having a go at all without Cryne we would we be uo **** creak.

The point I am making is that for a guy to make millions in IS then I would have thought that for his own credibility in the industry then he would make sure that theis was running.


Of course i realises that premium tv probably have something to do with this situation but for goodness sake online shops work for other clubs!!

nope, nothing to do with premiumTV

clubs are free to source their own provider of an online shop if they wish. Barnsley use someone that as far as i am aware, has moved on from the online store business and only serves its existing customers now.

Most clubs have taken advantage of the excellent software provided by permium tv for online stores and they work brilliantly compared to ours, for some reason we havent made that change yet, despite nobody in the club shop actually knowing how to use the software that they have at the moment to its full potential (according to them).

incidently, the same is the case with the official message board/bbs that the official site runs. clubs are free to source their own.

My point is that whether he run the club or not his name is associated with it. And if I was in his shoes I would want to make sure that its image did not damage my reputation.

I fairness we had a better official website back in 1996 when Radders etc administered it!!

Premium TV let us down badly although I believe the pay a tidy price to do so !

 

in fairness to PTV

the website that is there works, the issues are the content and what the club choose to do with them.

official BBS is ****. but the club CHOOSE to use the one they do, they dont have to.

official online store is knackered, but the club CHOOSE to use it, it isnt even the PTV one.

downloads section has been 'coming soon' for over a year. that is because the club CHOOSE not to update it.

latest news is full of crap stories because the club CHOOSE to put these stories out.


it doesnt matter what company provides the software for the site if the club dont utilise it to its full potention it will always be crap.

As far as I was aware, premium tv couldnt afford to pay everybody what was agreed, so they renegotiated a much reduced fee.

This site is better organised than the official site and that credit to YOU.

I guess the trouble is that the clubs saw websites as cash cows saw the PTV deal is the main stream of income, however that’s gone tits up. Other clubs have moved on and have successful on line retailing Barnsley haven’t

 

The Superstore is down for redevelopment

I do believe that it has been on the official site and in the matchday programmes (and indeed on here)
