So does that mean that around 15600 have all ready been sold? Or are we just selling so many on Monday then more on Tuesday?

It said 1300 sold the other day, didn't seem many people buying tickets yesterday as most pass holders had all ready bought tickets!

Either way, looks like all 3 sides of the ground will be completly sold out with reds fans for the first time since Man City, although the Leicester game last season was about full as well!!

I hope Chelsea sell all of the north stand to make it a total sell out! Anyone know how many they have sold? If they only sell 2-300 we should tell the police to do one and put some reds fans in it! It's up to us not them, we have a saftey gate underneath the stand and just put that meshing over some seats!

I find it difficult to believe sales have shot up from just under 13,000 to 15,600 in the space of 24 hours when demand was down to a trickle. Either we have been made to go barmy with segregation (I bet that block of seats is empty again behind the away dugout for instance), or there is some truth in what was said on here yesterday, about the end bit of the West Upper being closed for safety reasons.

too right, this police thing has got to be a rd herring

how many times do we go away and are in the same stand as the home fans, separated by the mesh, Coventry, stoke, west brom, i could go on, having said that surely chelski will sell their 6k tickets

chelsea wont sell 6000. they will sell 4000 tops. the club are putting free trains on to try and drum up some interest. it will be a travesty if the north stand has 2000 spare seats and weve got fans without tickets.

agreed its a joke we cant share the north stand

the club just can be bothered, loads of other clubs do it, it is built to allow sharing of the stand.

Exactly. Why have that big gate in it if we won't do it!! Hull City have done it a lot this season in there north stand, and that only holds 4000 not 6000!

We have done it before!! Come on Barnsley, I don't want to see one spare seat!!

I hope all 3 of our sides are sold out. I have a feeling that the right side of the West stand will be closed.

That's crazy if true! Not one single reason why it should be!

Maybe if we have 7000 pass holders, all of them was used 2 get 2 seats = 14000, then centenery members got another 1000 or so = 15000 + 5700 from Chelsea = 20700, leaving 1400 = 22100. So still another 500 though if the ground holds 22700 (as north seems to house 5700 and not 6000). Unless pass holders & centenery got another 500 then those fighure about add up maybe!

I'm happy either way as long as the Ponty, East and West is completly sold out with reds fans in every seat! Then it would be good to have some reds in the north if Chelsea only sell up to 3-3500!! If they get to 4000+ it will be hard to have reds fans in then!

Barnsley should really give it a go and sell some tickets to Barnsley fans on Thursday or even just on Friday for the north stand!

That would be difficult if we've given Chelsea tickets for the whole stand, unless they were given instructions not to sell certain ones unless all the others were sold.

If that's true, we really need to be looking into getting a brand new West stand.

Noth stand holds 6,000, East holds 7492, West holds 4752, ponty holds 4508, corner stand holds 202 Total capacity 23,009.... another question, why dunt we put some seat in the empty corner between the ponty and west stand????

They could possibly fill in the corner when they get round to redeveloping the West Stand maybe?

I'll miss the west stand. I think it looks a beaut when full. and i've seen some pics of when the bottom part was terracing and it looked ace
but it needs doing. but it doesn't really look out of place. Perhaps a new roof and structure - but not demolitiong it

They could do it up like what they did to the South stand at Hillsborough.Only on a smaller scale.
