We've scored 26 home goals - only Cardiff (28), Southampton (31) and Peterborough (28) have scored more than us. Interestingly though, we've conceded 24 home goals and only Peterborough (25) and Forest (26) can beat that. Are we all enjoying the free scoring/non existent home defending? I think the football is more exciting, it's just seems that when we lost at home - we have to really do it in style. After not conceding more than 2 in a home game for the whole of last season, in my opinion it's given us a bit of a shock  Goals Against (Home) 2011-2012: 24 - 15 matches played 2010-2011: 23 - 23 matches played 2009-2010: 29 - 23 matches played 2008-2009: 24 - 23 matches played 2007-2008: 26 - 23 matches played 2006-2007: 29 - 23 matches played Goals For (Home) 2011-2012: 26 - 15 matches played 2010-2011: 32 - 23 matches played 2009-2010: 25 - 23 matches played 2008-2009: 28 - 23 matches played 2007-2008: 35 - 23 matches played 2006-2007: 27 - 23 matches played So it looks like we are well on our way to scoring the most home goals, conceding the most home goals and finishing in our highest finish since our return to the Championship all in one season! Long live Keith Hill as Barnsley manager
Re: Only 3 teams have scored more home goals than us, 2 teams conceded more home goal Swings and roundabouts isn't it. Good post.
