I was on the A1 motorway traveling south Listened to the good news on the radio about the miners 2 minutes later heard the terrible news Being an ex-miner........bad bad news Trapped underground.......worst nightmare I could easily have pulled over on to the hard shoulder of the road when I heard this What the fooking hell is going on over there when they tell relatives that their men have been saved only to tell them 3 hours later that they are dead I wonder if they would have got the news wrong if it were 12 government office workers from Washington city
