Am I right in thinking there was a rumour in one newspaper saying we were buying Odejayi, for &pound;300,000, and its automatically been taken as gospel, and people are already saying he's a dodgy signing before its even been mentioned by either club?</p>

He looks fairly decent from what I have seen and highly rated by their fans which is always quite a good indicator I think.

Stan needs competition too judging by his dip in form at the end of the season.

 

From looking on the Football Forums that i frequent, mixed reaction. "Fastest player ever", "always gives defences a hard time", but also very inconsistent.

Pace is the main thing we lack going forward, so if we got him, it would solve that problem. However, is it worth £300k for someone to play upfront/be a substitute just as he has a lot of pace? Plus, the £300k figure is probably just plucked out as a guess, when reading "substantial six figure sum".

Scnuthorpe, Stoke and Plymouth are also linked, so I don't think it's by any means a certain story.

Window doesn't open yet anyway I don't think, so its very unlikely we'll hear anything about it from the club for a good while yet.
