So close. Won £42.30 ont Euro (3+2 bonus) but we were just 1no out on both the other 2 balls, about 60 million would have come in handy would have made a lot of people very happy plus loads of charities.
That reminds me of a guy I used to work with who used to say every week ‘ I got all the draws on the Pools this week but they were on different lines ‘ !!!
If I ever won a huge amount of money. I'd just want to be able to buy a property with a snooker table and retire. Just enough to be bale to live off a basic £30,000 a year. Nothing flash.
Me too. I'd probably give the excess to other family members and live off a self imposed allowance. All I don't want to have to do now I'm in my mid thirties is work. I'd make that quite clear to any financial advisers too. Sound a right bore don't I?
Not to me. The secret to life is contentment and if you're not particularly materialistic having enough to provide your needs with aome left over for your wants is all you need.
Id buy a small plot of land. Have a small house built. Have a large allotment and smallholding complete with ducks chickens sheep pigs etc and be happy as Larry.
Wouldn't you be buying Barnsley Football Club, tykester? Buy out the lot of them, buy the council's half of the stadium, and form a supporters committee of 12 to run and develop the club, drawn from the most knowledgeable posters on the BBS? Guaranteed success!
To be honest, the idea of never working again sounds incredibly boring. Not necessarily paid work - maybe offering my services to charities or the like - but without anything to do I'd struggle after a few weeks.
Scott. 1st Choice. I’ll rule myself out. ( thanks for offering ) My choice of managers is quite frankly the worst. Spackman, nuff said.
