Really cannot wait now for season to start optimistic as we have kept most of the side together bar isgrove fletcher and brownhill And brought some quality signings in. But I cannot remember last time we won on the opening day of the sEaston. Our last 3 wigan- 0-4 home hammering, 0-1 Crawley Town embarrassing defeat and Chesterfield last season 3-1. I don't know much about Ipswich expect mick been their manager but surely we are due a opening day win let's hope they play Digby at center half. COYR

Can't see Mick doing us any favours.

Can't see it being nil nil either.

Beyond that I've no idea how we are gonna do to be honest. Maybe being away for the first match will take the pressure off a little bit.
A draw would be a great result, but more likely to be 2-2 or 3-3 than nil a piece.

Uncharted territory for all but Hammill. Genuinely no idea how I think we'll do. I'd just like to see us go and compete.

No... probably quite a bruising encounter.
I'm sure Alfie & Marc will handle it OK, but may raise some question marks for our central midfield.

Yes, they just need to hold their positions & if we're playing 442 we need to defend from the front, closing down long balls forward & pressurising their defence.

Really looking forward to first home game. Have taken the saturday off specially... not something I can normally do in August.

Fair do's with White, but not really considered Lewin, as I doubt he'll feature much

No signs of him leaving just yet and at the minute any injury and he's in.

But yes I'm hoping he'll be 4th choice or out come the end of August.

Yeah you could be right in the promotion season we are defiantly due a away win then. Ipswich haven't had a good pre season by all accounts I know means nothing but hoping for a narrow win or draw.
