For me and my better half tomorrow. As always in this game. Hubby is not confident. Says they've been playing rubbish all season, just like last season but that they seem to have luck on their side when they sneak wins here and there. He admits we were the better side on their patch but they got the points! Myself, I'd be brimming with confidence if we still had Conor and Sam but we haven't been clinical enough and the goals have dried up. I hope tomorrow all will fall for us, the luck, the dreams, the crowd, the chanting, the magic, the ball and that that horrible piece of cocky scrum Hutchinson gets sent off for doing what he's noted for, 'malicious tackling !' That would make my day Oh yes !
I wouldn't mind them as much if they weren't so sticky, and as much as their fans like to say they're not bothered about us, they absolutely love those lucky late goals and dodgy decisions that seem to go in their favour. The timing for this one couldn't be better. They're always looking for an excuse to bash their manager, they're on a similar run to us, and a loss would probably see Fulham nick their spot. Having said that, you don't score you won't win, and we're struggling in that department. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I share both your concerns believe me. Frend refereeing is a disaster for us. I'm trying not to think about him. We need to score goals and take our chances. That's not been happening and tomorrow we need to rectify these failings. The thought of losing again to "That Club!" as Hecky refers to them , makes me feel sick. For once, please, let's stuff them!
Opposite ends of the country for me and my other half. He's off to London to escape the backlash if Wednesday win again. Have to hold my hands up, I really lost it last time, (which is extremely unusual, it usually is a friendly rivalry), but the amount of spozzy wins Wednesday have against us is unreal. Last minute winners when we've just had a penalty appeal turned down, last minute winners by a player who should have been sent off, outplaying them and still losing, goals standing when the keeper has clearly been fouled, and on and on. Would love to let them have a taste of that. COYR
