Going round in circles on their web site. I don't have the log in details, which seemingly makes it impossible to get an answer.

Anyone know what happens to a mobile contract when someone dies?
I don't really want to get into the conversation with a call centre in Calcutta, before knowing what's likely to happen.
Will there be penalties for cancellation of the contract? How long does it take to action the cancellation, and can the Sim card (with contacts) still be transferred to another phone?

    Thanks in advance.

    Straight from the horses mouth....

....you'll need to send a copy of the death certificate with a letter stating if you want to cancel it or transfer it to another name.

No penalties - if you want to keep the Sim it'll need to be a change of ownership.

From the point of receipt it's around 24 hours for completion.

Send me a PM if you've got any more questions - I'm sat opposite the bloke who runs the team as we speak......

Thanks Dyson, that's saved me a long afternoon on the phone.
