its needs more than just a public enquiry into orgreave, its needs a full on enquiry into the destruction of the industry purely on the grounds of political revenge. The tax paying public owned the industry, not the government,Norman Fcukin Tebbit gave the game away when,in 2009 he said the miners had been put firmly back in their place,Cecil Parkinson also gave an insight into the real motives when in 1993 he told a panorama special that while the public are feeling sorry for the miners they should not forget what they did in 1974.
The closure of the entire industry was not about economics,it was simply an act of revenge.

theres tons of stuff that the tories got away with that the public dont know about, one being the pensions contributions holiday that the coal board took from 1989 until 1994 where they used the money for redundancy payments instead.theres a campaign going on right now on this matter, but as is the norm when you take the establishment on,its like pissin in bed aweck.

Not just pickets being prevented from freely travelling around, I knew of groups of people in cars and mini buses were prevented from going fishing and other leisure activities purely on suspicion of being pickets.
