His dad is also saying it was nothing to do with religion. That's different from saying it had nothing to do with his religious beliefs though. I'm sure more will come out over the next few days. Either way it's absolutely devastating. I'm sure the NRA will say it supports legislation to bear arms.
at first i thought this thread was about that young singer that had been shot in america,till i read the comment about it gifting trump the presidency,didnt realise it was a terrorism attack killing 50 and wounding 50,apparently the gunmans dad is saying that it wasnt religiously motivated,it was homophobic,''he saw two men kissing in front of his wife and got very angry'' said mr saddique(gunmans father). think you are right Mr C,trump has just been handed the presidency.
Or has he? Trump supports guns. Guns have just killed 50 and put 50 in hospital. Clinton is against guns. Without 50 people would be alive.
its the fact that its a muslim thats done it mate,they are already hated in vast parts of america,this will only add to it.Had it been a 'bible bashin christian' then maybe clinton would have been handed the presidency because gun alone would have been to blame and not a muslim.According to the news they reckon he was armed with 'what appears to have been a bomb,an assault rifle and a handgun.
No definite links to terrorists at the minute - American police's words not mine- they are hinting at a homophobic motive . Still investigating but this is their current thinking
they are also saying he may have had leanings toward isis and islamic extremism..their(FBI) words not mine i might add.
