Anyone else going to this Saturday night?

We’re blessed to have one of the greats already after only 14 professional fights to ply his trade in this great nation.

I’ll be there to cheer on my fellow Yorkshire man, but it’ll probably only be for him to stay in there as long as possible. Loma does things to top class Athletes I’ve never seen before, he’s made seasoned super champions quit on their stool. Don’t let his little frame fool you this man hurts people.

I don’t give Luke much chance at all in this and wouldn’t be surprised to see the fight stopped in the first half, but I’d love it if he could pull off the impossible and hits loma with that one big shot. He’s a good guy in boxing Luke Campbell and you have to take your hat off to him for taking this massive task ahead.

I slag sky off for their part in football and stand by every word. But as far as boxing goes they’ve done a tremendous job so far, like I said bringing the pound for pound king to these shores is huge for every boxing fan. PPV 100% justified on this bill, the card is stacked from top to bottom. Fair play Hearn and sky.

I don't think he'll get stopped due to him being much the bigger fighter. I think Loma will win on points by 4/5 rounds. But Campbell will give a good account of himself. I love Sky's boxing nights and one thing i miss.

I really like Luke Campbell. Yorkshireman who's won Olympic gold and he went through a lot the other year losing his father and hope he wins.

Sadly I worry for his safety, expect him to be knocked out in the first half of the fight and hope those who order on box office have a good undercard for some value for money.

This great nation, really? Where have you been for the last 30 years?

I really hope you’re right. This is one fight I’d love to be proved wrong in and Campbell makes it competitive. He’s clearly capable, he’s a world class operator himself.

However, the history of loma forcing folk like Crolla, rigondeaux and a much bigger fighter in Linares into effectively retirement is scary. He takes your heart and makes you quit. If Campbell stays disciplined and to the plan of McGuigan he may have a chance of frustrating Loma. He’s going to need loma to have a massive off night too.

The undercard cannot disappoint really. Charlie Edwards in a tough fight. Buatsi may have to go rounds this time. And obviously the Fury Povetkin fight is interesting, I change my mind daily on who’s going to win this. Be a cracking night of sport.

Really looking forward to it, I don’t expect it to be a mismatch like some, Lomachenko’s obviously brilliant & I expect him to win on points but Campbell’s a lot better than he’s given credit for. I don’t see this as one sided as I did Usyk-Bellew, Golovkin-Brook, Camelot-Khan etc.

He’s got 2 losses on his record that I don’t think he’d have if it wasn’t for his dad been ill with cancer for several years & he died a fortnight before Campbell lost narrowly on points to Linares.

As for Sky, I think their coverage is appalling. We barely get any regular Saturday night UK shows anymore. They put anything they can on PPV, Dillian Whyte been the latest example, they’ve got several pundits Nelson, Froch, Oliver etc who clearly don’t even follow boxing outside of the shows they cover & just repeat nonsense about who wants it more.

I've never seen Campbell really hurt but he is easy to hit. Against someone like Loma it might not be that he gets knocked out but the corner could stop it or the ref. That's an easy scenario to see playing out.

Alternatively, his speed and boxing IQ is arguably greater than anything Loma has faced. But it's still a massive task ahead against one of the greatest of all time.
