Is there any other way of deleting a text you sent a couple of hours ago before passing out on the kitchen floor? I'm asking for a friend, obviously.
http://everydaylife.globalpost.com/unsend-iphone-message-21314.html Basically, no. Your friend is unlucky.
I've been messing with my phone, and I've found a message delay setting which delays sending a text for a configurable time after you press "SEND". However, the maximum time it can be set to (on my phone) is 30 seconds, which for most people is not enough time to sober up and think again about the content of the text. It's enough if you realise you've sent your text to the wrong person though!
Its OK its not as bad if you've sent a picture of your knob to your missus, rather than somebody else
I'm going to investigate that. There's been many a '**** off' said over the years that I wish I'd had 30 seconds to retract.
There should be a feature where your phone won't send texts after midnight unless you blow into a bluetooth breathalyser
I need to alter the time on that to about half 7. In fact, just have the feature switched on at all times.
