...that hurt last night but got to say it was a pleasure to watch some of the stuff Arsenal were up to. Awesome. Pity we didn't join in really, that's the worst we've played in a long, long time. Didn't start well when our coach turned up with no toilet and a driver who didn't know where he was going! We ditched him in Barnet ffs and cabbed it in - giving him 4hrs to find the coach park. We weren't confident. Where do they get them from. If you get the chance to go to the Emirates then do - it's absolutely superb, everything about it is class. Even decided to try the comfy padded seat with about 2 mins to go Good luck tonight btw
What's the prices like ? Is it expensive? Can imaginethe groundto be great - always thought Highbury was a class ground - nsuch seemed to have something extra
RE: What's the prices like ? Is it expensive? Views were superb, we were 8 rows from the front which I didn't think would be up to much tbh. Lower tier was £32.50 & the Upper was £46 - and because you had to book via Ticketmaster they charged £1.50/ticket on top and about £5 for recorded delivery (not too bad if, like us, you had a batch together you only paid 1 delivery charge). Probably preferred it to Wembley tbh - definately from the outside.
So Mate........ I watched your game on Sultana and just wondering when you're buying a new mobile phone
That's more like it! lol Keep having the nightmare where KO is baring down on goal - it's been a recurring one this year!
errr Jeff, errr dare I say errrr I watched Swansea on tele against Fulham and I thought they were very good !!! (hidebehindsofa)
It's not that I was worried about ...it was getting back to Finsbury Park with 1 shoe Who the hell chucks mobile phones & a shoe (doh)
Reminds me ...of our very own Eddie Johnson. Signed for Fulham a couple of years ago for £3m+ and we've got him on a season-long loan on megabucks. Yet to score on British soil (banghead)
Yep, agreed ...they looked very good & will be dark horses without a doubt. As will Bristol City. God that hurt saying that. Will be interesting when - and its only a matter of time, a Premiership side come knocking on Roberto Martinez' door. But for all their excellent run and bravado they're still below us in the table & we've got games in hand as well - and they've got to come to Ninian for a "love-in"
RE: It's not that I was worried about Commentators made enough of the phone incident. Basically saying who would be daft enough to throw a phone because it's surely easy to track down the owner from the numbers stored in there.
RE: It's not that I was worried about He'll have taken the SIM card out surely - yeah, right. Some of our lot are just plain stupid. I was surprised that the Arsenal fans above us in the corporate areas were pouring hot tea (I hope it was tea anyway, lol) and spitting down on us - I saw at least 3 of them being led out and rightly so. Not as bad as in Milan with Wales though when they were openly p!ssing on us (with coppers stood next to them!) and putting their fingers down their throats to vomit over us. Lovely. On the shoe front, we've a well known guy who organises supporters busses etc who has a wooden leg - lost his in a mining accident years ago. The finger was pointed at him on our messageboards and he's strenuously denying it
