Reminds me of how Mayweather will look when Hatton gets hold of him :) :) :)

Tha should have some more faith mate. That's what's wrong with this country. No faith in our sport stars :D :D :D

If I thought he was good enough to do that to Mayweather I would have some faith...

    However, he isn't, so I don't...

And having more faith in the sportsmen and women ofthis country won't make them any better than they are.... its all down to raw talent, hard work and opportunity !!!!!!!

Mayweather will hate having someone the speed of Ricky coming at him. He's no hope in surviving the body punches.

He's defeated fighters like Diego Corrales, Arturo Gatti, Jose Luis Castillo, Zab Judah and Oscar De La Hoya.....

All better fighters than Hatton IMHO and he fought them all with the exeption of De La Hoya (who was still an awesome boxer) while they were in their prime...

Unlike Hatton... most of his biggest fights have been with fighters who were past their best...

Sorry mate, I admire your patriotism (ala Henman) and i hope Ricky can do it too, but I just think he'll go the same way as Naseem Hamed went when he fought a real top class fighter...

    Nice pay day though !!!!!!

I'm with db on this. Mayweather likes to fight at his pace and in his career has bored his way to somevictories. He won't have that against Hatton. He will be in his face for th entire fight and I genuinely believe that Rickys body shot is enough to finish any fighter off. Hatton will win, no doubt in my mind. Mayweather has got some fast hands but he hasn't got the raw power to knock Hatton out. Hatton in a late round.

You'll have to be careful Cinderella ... Windy/WYRed can get a bit techy if anyone dares to suggest that Hatton may be biting off more than he can chew!

    Much as I like Hatton

I can see Mayweather winning on a stoppage because Hatton is cut to ribbons

    He will be

only so much scar tissue you can have around the eyes.
plus the fact he is a fat fecker and has to burn off far too much weight, that is also something that will catch out in the end.

This is something that's going to be debated for months lol. I would love to see both Ricky and Joe retired undefeated on 50 and 0 records. Although once Joe beats Kesler and then probably Jermaine Wright, he will have nobody left.

    Scar tissue

is stronger than normal tissue. Surely this will mean there is less chance of the skin breaking open?
