Oulare is out for the foreseeable future according to Schopp from today's Chronicle.
Looks like we've got another Phil Gridelet on our hands.

"Initially put down to fitness issues, six foot four Oulare's prolonged absence is due to a reccurring back issue which will see him unavailable for the foreseeable future.
Schopp had originally been hopeful Reds fans could see the striker after the upcoming international break.
'He's trying his best, he's trying to get fit, but when he makes one step forward an injury brings him back one or two steps,' said the head coach."

Schopp also confirmed Halme could be facing time out, was injured in training last Saturday morning.

I think it's a toss up as to what is worse - our second half performance against Forest or the recruitment this summer.

Work to do for the new CEO in January, to undo the summer window.

Does Cole need another club? Do we need to find a replacement for Oulare? Do we need the experienced midfielder Schopp asked for? Is Vita going to stay? If not, do we need another left back? Does the coach want to play a back 4 and bring a right back in?

What a great bit of business. Well done Conway.
With his playing record it was obvious we should have kept well clear.

"Here you go Obbi old son. It's not working out, is it. Here's a couple of weeks wages, thanks for your time"

Which will probably be echoed at his next club(s) too.

Kieffer was made out to be a bit of a journeyman mercenary with his method of picking up a nice signing on fee every year or so. But at least he made appearances (and some)!! Not sure Obbi's strategy will be as lucrative.

Carlton Morris was also a gamble.
I'm sure I remember Woodraw being injured when we signed him.
Let's wait a while on the striker.
The other one looks like he could cut it at this level.
Big Vic was given enough time .

Its a close one, I'm now going with the recruitment as the biggest mess, and including Schopp in that - we had a great opportunity thanks to our play off achievements to attract a class of coach we otherwise probably couldn't, and what do we get? The coach from the von Trapp family 5 a-side team.

Not sure if this one is all Conways fault?
He was identified and we tried to sign him last January before Dike.
Which sounds to me all Conway has done is completed the paperwork Dane started.

I used to sup it in the Windmill Pontefract. Then I went onto Cider Reserve. That really blows your socks off. Schopp ought to have some. The guy hasn't got a w@nk in him.

Maybe Dane really didn't like us, and Schopp was his parting gift? ;)

Aye fair comment I suppose. Still, he’s played barely 50 games in his career and didn’t want to come in January.
    The warning signs were there.

I don't think the recruitment was that bad other than the massive error in the Manager appointment
Benson and Gomes look quite capable - it would help if Gomes got a game every now and then mind
Iseka is starting to show promise - again some game time would help
Hondermark comes in looks promising and is then shipped out to the U23's
Apart from Oulare who was a gamble that seems to have failed its hard to form an opinion when the manager wont play them

I might trust the managers judgement if it was someone else but anyone who keeps playing Oduor as a striker when there are other realistic options and leaves Sibbiick out for Moon against fast oppsition strikers makes me doubt he knows what he is doing
Its depressing to see how poor players who were excellent last season have become this which is really worrying

We wont really be able to judge the summer recruitment of players until we get a competent coach in
