Completely agree, and I consider myself impartial as I have never seen most of this team play before. A class player, no doubt.
in the true tradition oof the chronicle...you know fook all...... he was showboating going for the killer ball all the time.....waste a time
Totally agree the ball to Jim Bob for the 1st goal was one of the best ive seen in recent memory at t`well plus he did it again to Davies to prove it wasnt a fluke. And 2-1 down for me he was the only player who gave an effort to pull it back i just dont think people can take it we have a good player at the club. Best player at club get behind him and dont drive him out of the club with your no need critism like you did with Adam Hammill.
Now I know you are trying a wind-up: having never seen him play much before, I watched his every move, pretty much. I was impressed with his "intelligence" - if the "killer ball" wasn't on (which he did manage on quite a few occasions), he swivelled and found a man to the side or behind i.e. the safe ball. Best player for me today.
I didnt think it was one of his better games but he wasnt bad by any means - took the wrong option a few times and still gets brushed off the ball too easily but did a lot right as well Not his fault that Hill decided to pair him and perkins as a sort of 2 man midfield that got a bit overrrun by the 5 blackpool payers they were up against The two players who both had very poor games by their usual standards were Steele and Davies - but they also have many more good games than bad ones My honest view is Butterfield isnt ready for the Prem yet and he would be making a mistake to go in Jan but I think he will be playing there in the next couple of years
