Our biggest obstacle this year will be.....

the Fans. There are loads out there that will be shouting "Davey Out" if we lose the toss for Kick Off!!!
We all know we are not where we want to be, we may not be where should be but we will not achieve anything with the fans (or some of them) against the team from the start.
I am confident the new players will come, I am hopefull that this season will be an improvement on last year BUT I am worried that the team will not be given a chance!

Getting a bit sick of the constant 'fickle fans','get behind the manager even if its Spackman' posts. I'm baffled ,what has changed in our style of play and tactics over the last two seasons to make people think Davey will improve next season.

 

It's been said on here that those who aren't 100% behind Davey are in the minority and the feeling is very different around the town and where the 'proper' positive fans sit. So I assume the Nou Camp type atmosphere that they'll be creating will drown out the minority mutterings of 'Davey Out', surely?

Minority damnit, I meant minority.

If Cryne took serious notice of what the fans thought on this site, davey would have been sacked long ago. All this board does is give fans a chance to vent off, while before it was done in pubs, clubs etc. We will always be behind the club regardless. But everyone has a right to moan and be negative.

Feeling that we will do well is all well and good. But feeling we will do well is far removed from the fact that the same set of players were not good enough last season. So why based on fact will they be better this season. Give them a chance. They have and Davey has had more than a chance. It's up to them to prove how good the team is. Last season was all talk of we are too good to be where we finished. Well let's prove it this season. No more excuses.

I hope we are better. As we all do. But we are all allowed to negative and moan it is out barnsley fan right. Blind faith in the team, indicates a poor knowledge of football. What is certain is what is said on the board does not effect the result on Saturday, if it be a negative or positive comment. All positive posts do most of the time is cheer up the readers and help u to forget that maybe we are in deep sh#t. Negative post just highlight the problems which bring people down.

The main thing is. WE ALL LOVE BARNSLEY!
