Pretty sure I’ve seen that article before, maybe someone posted it earlier in the season.

I’m not sure who did the judging but I don’t rate that badge as highly as the plain white rose or even the oak leaf and well badges from the past. I’d just have the white rose again tbh

I'm pretty sure it was posted not long after the season started.

A bit of positive recognition does any harm. And at least they're not trying to suggest that the Toby Tyke badge is the club crest.

It's an opinion, but not mine. I still think it was a backward step when the club ditched Toby.

Sl think we took a backwaditched rd step when we

I hate our badge actually. Hard to pick the badge out in a crowd. Cluttered and doesn't lend itself to copy or merchandise easily

He's still on lots of the merchandise. And the badge he was on was never used on the shirt and therefore wasn't the official club badge - it was the white rose for much of the period the Toby stuff was popular. I guess that badge wasn't used on merchandise as much as it wasn't particularly distinct (the white rose being more a symbol of Yorkshire in general).

Don't get me wrong, I love Toby. He's great. And I'm 47 . I just think that using him on the club badge looks unprofessional and creates a bit of a cartoon image. That's all well and good for the stuff aimed at the kids but as a professional sports club I prefer something a little more formal. I wouldn't be against us changing the badge for something simpler in the future but it'd need to be something suitable and meaningful imo (something along the lines of the old oak and well maybe).

Bloke in a pair of flares. Theres a reason why NFL badges are simple and the most marketed in the world.

My feelings down to a tee, especially about Toby. Brilliant mascot, but should be nowhere near the badge. Imagine how much we'd ridicule Wendy if Ossie Owl appeared on their shirt!

Personally, I love that the club have the town's crest as it's badge.
