just looking for gift ideas for my dad who is a norwich fan and there online store has over 200 just souvenirs, including things such as matchday experiances this is the sort of thing our club should be doing, could make a lot of extra income and generate a lot of interest from the fans
R.Tiverton is desperate to complete his collection of Barnsley Football Club stationery items for children.
fatty boy you should try and sort out a contract with the club the kind of stuff you make is like the stock that all the other clubs in the league sell, we really are lettin ourselves down on this front
RE: it's a disgrace, and hardly any clothing is in red! bizarre nt The club shop is a disgrace. There is a very poor selection of goods to buy and it is badly laid out. However the biggest embarassment is the "shop" (whole in the wall) in the East stand! A complete waste of a small space!
I still remember the club shop that was built into the old perimeter wall at the far side of the west stand (up where it meets the north stand). That was ****. I'm not saying what we have now is amazing but I'm sure they only order stock to meet demand, i.e. nobody buys anything then it's pointless buying in loads of lines.
problem is the lines seem to be buy it cheap sell it dear in order to make a huge profit. But unles you are manchester Utd it doesnt quite work that way.
Good job Debenhams or Burtons or somewhere doesn't think like that We've got all this **** stock and no one is buying it so there's no point ordering any good stuff in.
We are going down to see em We could come up with loads more great designs, this is another clothing line i'm involved in.
www.stompclothing.com
Wouldn't take much to put a great line of BFC clothes together.

RE: Good job Debenhams or Burtons or somewhere doesn't think like that Who said all the stock was ****? There is some real **** amongst the stock but there is some half decent stuff as well. P.C made very good points about where we channel money recently; i think this is also true of the club shop.
did he make those points at the "secret society meeting?" that none members are not allowed to know about???
Its not rocket scxience though is it? you get good quality attractive stuff in and sell it at a fair price(obviously 'fairish' it is a club shop after all) and people will buy it
Said it before but When it comes to commercial acumen and marketing organisation, we're a million miles away from where we ought to be.
Don't hold me to this....
...butI think the kit sponsors have some kind of sway over certain items in red so the other colours will be the higher profit stuff.

Agreed, Fatty Boy seems to have a bit about him in terms of ideas Get banging on door with your portfolio and some of comments on here. Terrace wear is where we are going wrong, stuff for all season to actually wear at match or out and about, style and cool. Check out some of Inter's gear here, although the t-shirts and hoodies the Ultras sell on the concourses have a lot more kudos, still very nice garments http://store.inter.it/prodotti.asp?cat=413
Club shop? Charity shop more like I've lost track of the times I have gone into the club shop wanting to spend money but left having spent nothing. It's a load of tat, laid out to look like a load of tat. You go in there and it makes you feel gloomy. It makes you feel like you're supporting a hard bitten, lower league side. Compared to almost every club in the football league our shop is very very poor.
