Love the calling us dirty when the ref let them off with 3 similar challenges that in the 2nd half we got booked for. Despite the ref playing advantage for our 4th he could have easily still booked two of their players for the challenges he let go.

 

There was a text read out on radio Sheffield tonight which said 3 of our goals were deflections. I must have missed those goals, did we actually score 7?

Anybody would think they've not pinched points undeservedly with late goals, own goals after being bang awful.
They keep banging on about missed chances.
Erm. we did miss 3 golden opportunities. n'all. 1 that would have put us 3-0 up not long after the 2nd. Norwood I think. Header.

 

There’s some drivel on the thread. Apparently they gifted us 4 goals. From what I saw, we carved them open for the first and fourth. Won the ball midway in their half and scored from outside the box for the second, and the finish for the third was probably the best bit of quality all night.

They seem to think they were the superior side as well. At least one or two acknowledge that the team chasing the game is generally going to have more of the play and try and put the team in the lead under more pressure, and they were on level terms with us for grand total of 19 minutes. I suspect if they’d equalised earlier, we’d have gone ahead again earlier.

Someone posted last night (sorry, can’t remember who), that we spent 25 minutes trying to score a goal and got 4 in that time. Sums the game up nicely I reckon.

 

Frankly it just doesn’t matter what they say. They came, they lost, we took the points. They don’t matter anymore.

All that matters now is preparing for Exeter. Showing them proper respect, then doing what we do.

Ffs I'd like to know how many of their opponents have said that during that run.
Listening to praise or grumble I've lost count of how many of their fans (they do have some of the older generation who say it as it is tbf) have said we won that unfairly. But would have lost last season.

 

Yeah, they conveniently seem to have forgotten about us playing them off the park at Hillsborough.
